Karoline Wiegerink

Dr. Karoline W. Wiegerink RM (1961) is associate partner of Holland Consulting Group. She works as a consultant in the field of strategic marketing management.
Wiegerink is specialised in the subject of event marketing and city marketing. As a part time professor at Hotelschool The Hague, International University of Hospitality Management, she is holding the Chair of City Hospitality and City Marketing.
Karoline Wiegerink has more than 20 years of experience in the field of management consultancy, research, training and interim marketing management. During several years she has been the director of Erasmus Centre of Event Marketing (ECBM) and lecturer at Erasmus University. There she received her Ph.D. degree in Business Economics with a thesis about professional trade show visitors. At Nyenrode Business University she had been working for the Chair Event Marketing & Communication for a few years.
She has gained special experience in the field of trade shows, meetings and events activities on the assignment of major industry players. As a consultant she has been working in several industries, such as the communication industry, construction, engineering, bio-chemical and the professional service industry for clients in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Russia. Her assignments where related to strategic business planning and implementation, account management, portfolio management, market feasibility studies and other marketing related subjects. She has operated as incompany trainer for several companies and as lecturer at Erasmus University and guest lecturer of different Economic Business Schools.
Karoline Wiegerink is a solution driven person and an analytical and structured worker. She is married and has two daughters. |
