Willem Vrakking

Willem Vrakking has been a partner of Holland Consulting Group since 1980.

He studied engineering at the Delft University of Technology and business economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Amsterdam. Following several years at Koninklijke Shell, Vrakking has been active as management consultant since 1971.

His main consulting activities concern strategic, structural, technological and cultural innovation issues in businesses, government organizations and institutions.

His specialty is the management of innovation processes. He was the project leader in over 200 change processes.

Vrakking also advises on top structures and merger and strategic cooperation issues.

Furthermore, he is parttime professor of Business economics in the department of Internal Organization, Faculty of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research field focuses primarily on innovation management and internal entrepreneurship.

He is a member of the research forum Erasmus Group of Innovation Studies (EGIS)

His publications mainly deal with innovation and implementation management. He has published numerous articles and books.

Vrakking is Vice President of the International Society of Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM). He is also member of the editorial board of Management Consultant, magazine for management-consultants.
